Going home.

The real Spain.

We stayed four days with Spanish friends. They showed us Madrid and Alcala de Henares. They taught us what tapa\\\'s are. We met some of their friends. They were very hospitable. We had a great time with them and are looking forward to their visit to Holland the end of June. From Madrid we travelled to Nuevalos and then on to the Pyrenees. There we had a lot of rain, but still did some walking and geocaching. Since May 20 we are in Casteil, France where we think we will stay for a week.

Walking and caching, sun and snow

In Villargordo del Cabriel we made a by the campsite organised walk. Albert fell down during this trip, He was able to continue the walk but was bruised and had a light concession (as the googletranslater translated the Dutch word \\\'hersenschudding\\\'.) On monday we travelled to Aranjuez, a town with palaces and parks. Since friday we are in Hoyos del Espino in the Sierra the Gredos, a place we have been three times before because we like it here so much. So far we found four geocaches in this area.

Fine weather in Spain.

We have been at campsite Chellanatura in Chella for three weeks. Last monday we moved to a campsite in Sax but did not like it there so we moved to Villargordo del Cabriel. Next week we will move to the Western part of Spain. As the campsite has no WiFi we can use the computerroom in the cultural centre in Villargordo. Here we use a cable and that is lucky because Albert thinks our computer cannot have wireless contact anymore.

Chella and surroundings.

We have been at the campsite Chellanatura for nearly two weeks and we will be here for another week. We visit old villages and small towns, walk in canyons and look for geo-caches. So far we found 12 geo-caches in Spain.

Between oranges and olives.

We are in Chella in the province of Valencia. The campsite is small, it has only 7 places and at the moment there are only two places occupied and we are one of them. It is surrounded by olive- and orangegrooves. We intend to stay here till after Easter and maybe somewhat longer. The weather: strong cold wind, some sun, cloudy. In the sun it is over 20 degrees C. In the wind it is just cold. The pictures of the birds were taken in the Ebro Delta (Delta d\\\'Ebre), a beautiful and flat area with ricefields.

Saturday we are leaving for Spain

We had to stay a few extra days in the south of France because of bad winterweather in the Pyrenees and storm at the eastcoast. But on saturday the storm is over, so we can travel again.
